LG keep expanding their portfolio of entry-level and midrange handsets, which played a key role in making them the third largest manufacturer worldwide. Now the company unveiled no less than 5 yet unannounced phones at a press event held in Amstelveen, Netherlands.

LG KS365 is a successor to the highly popular LG KS360 and comes with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. It refreshes the design of its predecessor but puts little new functionality on the table. The 2.4" touchscreen is retained and so are the 2 megapixel camera and the stereo FM radio.

Next comes the LG GT405 - a phone for multimedia lovers on a tighter budget. It comes with a 3" touchscreen and packs the company proprietary S-Class UI. The 5 megapixel camera and the 3G with HSDPA support might make the LG GT405 the best-spec'd phone of the bunch revealed today.

The SMS message is a very popular way of communicating, as it’s quick, easy and best of all, cheap. If you’re a serial texter but aren’t using templates yet, then you’re only halfway to becoming a Tocco Lite power-user! Not only is it really easy, but if you find you’re repeating yourself time after time, it can be a real time-saver too. Here’s how to set one up: In the main menu, select Messages.
Then select Templates, followed by Text Templates.
Now you want to choose Create and a new text template window will open.
Add your text into the message box as normal. …

Digging up a phone we have heard little about since it appeared on a leaked roadmap, is the rumour that Toshiba will be launching a WinPho7 phone before the end of the year. The phone in question is the TG03, which according to the 2009 leak is a similar beast to the TG01, in that it will be Snapdragon powered and housed inside a 9.9mm thick casing.
Along with several others, Toshiba were on the list of early partners at the Microsoft press conference, so we know they are behind the new operating system, plus they unveiled the TG02 at Mobile…

The LG Pop is a great little phone. One of the fun things about it is that it is capable of using mp3 files to play sounds for a variety of different actions on your phone. You can choose different sounds for your ringtone, message tones, start up and shut down sounds. You can also make different choices for each profile that you have on the phone (such as your normal profile and your outdoor profile). Of course, you have to know how to make these changes if you want to properly customize the sounds on your LG Pop. Here’s…

While the first phone out there packing Bluetooth 3.0, the Wave, is about to hit the stores in a few weeks, the first Android-based smartphone with the latest version of Bluetooth is still waiting for its announcement. That's the Samsung SHW-M120S.

We have no images of the SHW-M120S to show you but there's a nice mini specs sheet. The Android-powered Samsung SHW-M120S is apparently meant to show up only in South Korea but the world isn't that big after all. And the M120S is GSM network compatible (HSDPA support is also on board).

Feature-wise, the Samsung SHW-M120S is quite reminiscent of the Samsung Wave, which we previewed recently. You get a 3.3" AMOLED touchscreen (it's not clear if we are talking about Wave's gorgeous Super AMOLED display), a 5-megapixel autofocus snapper and a secondary VGA camera.

Proximity sensor and an inbuilt accelerometer are also to see on the specs list. The SHW-M120S is expected to come with a T-DMB tuner and Wi-Fi support as well as a GPS receiver.

The M120S shows up only a month after the announcement of its bro, the M100S, which has a huge 3.7" Super AMOLED screen and plenty of other mouth-watering features.

There is still no information when the device will start shipping and if we can expect its European version to see daylight at some point.
